The goal of Midwest Energy Management Inc. is to provide you, the customer, quality service at a competitive price. If you have a problem, we have the resources to solve it that day. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
By monitoring the condition of each and every battery, we are able to give you advanced notice as to the life expectancy allowing you to budget for future replacement.
Included in our service offering we check and record the following:
· Charger output, current, and voltage.
· Cracks in units or leakage of electrolyte.
· Look for evidence of corrosion at terminals and connectors.
· Ambient temperature and condition of ventilation equipment (if any).
· Voltage of each unit and total battery terminal voltage, using a calibrated digital voltmeter.
· Specific gravity of 20% of the cells. (Wet cells only)
· Temperature of electrolyte in representative cells. (Wet cell only)
· Check 20% of intercell connection, detail resistance’s chosen at random. (Wet cell only)
· Water cells as needed. (Wet cell only)
· General appearance and cleanliness of the battery and battery area.
We will immediately notify your company of any significant changes in the recorded readings, or, of any evidence of damage discovered during these inspections.
On the annual visit Midwest Energy Management augments the inspection by checking and recording:
· 100% check of voltage and internal/external impedance readings.
· 100% check of specific gravity. (Wet cell only)
· Tightening of bolted connections to recommended torque settings.
· Detailed visual inspection of the condition of the cells.
Subsequent to each inspection, Midwest Energy Management shall provide your company with a written report detailing your batteries condition. In addition you will receive a written quote for any repairs or replacement deemed necessary.
Midwest Energy Management also offers:
· A full line of replacement batteries.
· A full line of UPS systems, and DC Plants.
· Installation and removal of existing UPS systems, DC Plants, and the batteries associated.
· Load testing.
· Surge protection devices, a critical, but often overlooked component.
· EPA trail also provided for the disposal of existing batteries.
